West Pine Apartments are located at 1490 Hwy 258 in Bald Knob, Arkansas, once known as the strawberry capital of the world. The apartments are conveniently located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The Bald Knob National Wildlife Refuge also known as the Hurricane Game Refuge is located one-half mile southwest of Bald Knob and is bordered by the Little Red River. The refuge has historically wintered large concentrations of waterfowl and is home to a pair of bald eagles. The refuge offers a great place to deer hunt and fish. The Little Red River provides excellent Rainbow Trout fishing and makes this area one of the most popular in the state for water sports. Greers Ferry Lake also within driving distance offers many scenic areas for family outings and extended camping trips. Searcy, Arkansas, located just south of Bald Knob, offers a wide array of family activities, such as great shopping and an excellent variety of fabulous restaurants.
West Pine is located a short drive from Bald Knob Medical Center and less than 30 minutes from one hospital in Searcy, White County Medical Center. Local pharmacies are located nearby that facility.
West Pine Apartments consist of a beautiful 22 unit, 2 story complex with twelve 2-bedroom apartments that have one and a half baths and nine 1-bedroom apartments. Each spacious unit includes a stove, refrigerator, central heat and air, and carpet throughout the rooms, except in the kitchen and bathroom, which have tile flooring. On-site at West Pine Apartments you will find a playground, community room, and a laundry area. Yard maintenance is provided by the on-site groundskeeper.
West Pine provides affordable housing for both elderly and family residents. Rent is based on income. Water, sewer, trash collection, and gas utilities are paid by the landlord.
