Mountain View Public Housing is located in beautiful
Mountain View, Arkansas. The houses are located close to a nature-walking trail with small creek, skateboard and
bicycle paths, softball fields and small municipal pool. It is a great place to raise your kids.
You can take your kids to the White River and do some fishing or hiking in the beautiful Ozark National Forest, Gunner
Pool is a perfect place to go wading in a cold mountain stream. If your
children are musical in nature, then Mountain View is the perfect place to be;
on any summer night you can gather on the Court Square and listen to fine
musicians that gather from around the world to play simple, beautiful folk

Schools
Mountain View Public Schools serve the eastern section of
Stone County. The school system has
over 1,200 students and over 80 teachers.
The staff is dedicated to a commitment of excellence with many students
excelling in state and national competitions.
Healthcare Facilities
Mountain View is home of the Stone County Medical Center and the Ozark Orthopedic and Hand Surgery Clinic.
There are also two chiropractic offices, two dental practices, and an
optometrist.
You can also find four pharmacies all located within the city limits of Mountain View.

View Public Housing consists of fifteen 3-bedroom single-family, brick homes
designed for families with children located throughout sites in Mountain
View. Each of these homes has a front
and back yard, outdoor clothesline, mini blinds, living room, kitchen, garbage
disposal, one and a half baths, tile flooring and electric central heat and
air. There are also hook-ups for a washer and dryer.
Rent
Mountain View Public Housing is exclusively reserved for
families. Rent is calculated based on
income. Expenses such as water, sewer,
and trash collection are included in the rent price. Please call or come by our office to see if you would qualify to
live in one of these beautiful homes.
