Location & Local Attractions     

Melbourne Meadows Apartments are located at 904 Rebecca Street in beautiful Melbourne, Arkansas, the county seat of Izard County.  Melbourne is located in the center of the County just a short drive to the White River, Lake Norfork, Blanchard Springs Caverns and the Folk Center in Mountain View.  A short drive to the northeast of Melbourne is Hardy, Arkansas with its quaint downtown full of antique stores and great canoeing offered by the Spring River.

Melbourne hosts the Pioneer Days Festival each fall - a great time to visit with old friends.  Melbourne is home of the Izard County Fair and the North Central Arkansas District Fair in September.  Ozarka College is located in Melbourne and offers not only adult education classes but also concerts, lectures, other cultural events.  Melbourne has many churches, civic organizations, a nice city park with walking trail, and a new public golf course.   Melbourne Meadows is just a short drive to the Town Square, Post Office, and shopping.  Many of the supermarkets and pharmacies deliver at no charge. 

Apartment Features

Melbourne Meadows Apartments is a 20-unit complex located in a nice neighborhood setting built exclusively for those who are 62 years old or older or mobility impaired.  Melbourne Meadows has five studio and fifteen 1-bedroom apartments.  Handicapped accessible apartments are available.

All apartments are on ground level with sidewalks providing easy access to all apartments, mailboxes, the office and coin-operated laundry room.  The office complex also includes a small activity room.  Plenty of parking is available.  Melbourne Meadows is a beautifully landscaped complex with trees and flowers.  Lawn care and maintenance are provided.

Each apartment includes a refrigerator and range, as well as ceiling fans, mini blinds, carpeted living area, and tile kitchen and bathroom, and emergency pull-cord switches in the bedroom and bathroom.  Each apartment is wired for cable TV and telephone, which are available at renter’s expense.

Rent

Rent is based on adjusted annual income and utilities are included in the monthly rental rate.
